The entire commemoration evening, including the wreath laying at the Berenkuil and Bridge to Liberation can be followed live on Omroep Gelderland, on bridgetoliberation.nl and on the Facebook pages of Municipality of Arnhem and Bridge to Liberation.

For whom is the commemoration in the Eusebius Church?

The memorial meeting in the Eusebius Church is intended for guests and residents. You can experience everything from home; the commemoration evening can be followed live on Omroep Gelderland.

What is the best way to come to the commemoration?

It is wise to come by public transport, by bicycle or on foot. It is busy and there are road closures and diversions. Arnhem Central Station and the central bus station are within walking distance of the city centre (5 minutes). Check before departure the current travel times on www.9292.nl. Are you coming by bicycle? Then there are several free guarded bicycle sheds in the downtown area. 

Despite the traffic measures, I come by car anyway

Are you coming by car anyway? Park the car in one of the Arnhem parking garages. In certain parking garages, a parking fee of 1 euro per hour applies after 6 pm.

Are there special places for people with a physical disability at the commemoration evening?

Places have been reserved for people with a physical disability on the upper ring of Airborneplein. You can go here yourself and will be guided on the spot by a hostess or host. A separate section has also been reserved for people with a physical disability at Bridge to Liberation, namely at the front of the Rijnkade. On the evening itself you can report to a hostess or host.

Are there parking spaces for the people with a physical disability available? 

In the centre there are sufficient parking spaces for people with a physical disability. The parking spaces for people with a physical disability at the Eusebiusbinnensingel are closed due to the walk to the Rijnkade.

Are there toilets available?

Toilets are available on Oranjewachtstraat. These are free of charge. There are also toilets for people with a physical disability.
