Activities in the Airborne region

The Battle of Arnhem took place not only in Arnhem, but also in Ede, Oosterbeek (municipality of Renkum) and Driel (municipality of Overbetuwe). Together these municipalities form the Airborne Region.

In September, together with partners, they organize numerous activities to reflect on the events of September 1944. Think of droppings with paratroopers, the Airborne Freedom Run, the Bridge to the Future conference and many other activities. A special Airborne newspaper will also be published with the extensive programme, interviews and stories. This newspaper is available free of charge at the information centres, tourist offices, bookshops and many hotels in the region.
